The police of Cook County are blaming a teenager for not yielding which caused a fatal crash with a police car. The crash happened when the teen failed to yield and was struck by an unmarked squad car.

A dead teenager’s mother expressed outrage Tuesday after Cook County police blamed her son, not Evergreen Park police, for the October crash that resulted in his death.

In Houston, a crash that involved a car and a semi-truck ended with firefighters pulling the man out of the crushed vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash caused the bumper of the truck to fly off and it almost struck another vehicle.

When firefighters arrived before 2 a.m. Wednesday, the truck was not at the accident site. The driver of the car was trapped inside and firefighters had to remove him from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to a… continue reading
